"Hee hee, he was all like, 'so, do you want to hang out' and I was all like, 'yeah! of course! I'd love to!' and then he was like 'okay, whats your number?' so I gave it to him!"
"Aw, your so lucky Moni-chan, last week this cute guy asked me out but I was too shy to talk!"
"I was asked out by three seperate guys already this week, but I declined every one. They're just not my types."
"You don't need to rub it in Sanaki-san."
Kanishii giggled along with the rest of the group.
"Well, I'd better get going, mom's cooking Yodofu tonight and I don't want to miss it. See you guys later!" The one called Moni said while leaving.
"Yeah, I should get home too. We're having Sokiyaki! What are you having tonight, Kanishii-chan?
Kanishii sighed. "I'm having udon noodles."
Her friends looked at her funny. "Again? You've had udon everynight this week."
Kanishii looked down. "I cant cook anything else."
Moni gasped. "So, you just eat them plain?"
"Yep."
"You can come eat dinner at my house tonight-"
"I'm good. I have to feed Inu-chan anyways. Besides, plain udon noodles aren't that bad." Actually, they are... Kanishii thought.
"Well, okay," Moni said, "but if you ever want some real food feel free to come over."
"Thanks, Moni-chan. Goodbye,"
Kanishii watched her friends leave. The sky was already begining to get dark. I'll stay a little longer, she told herself.
Kanishii was almost always lone. Atleast being out here in the park was a little better that being home in that spooky house, but she knew she would have to go back there, eventually. Inu-chan was waiting.
Kanishii stood up and gazed at the stars. "Sorry I lied, Moni-chan. I'm not really having udon tonight. We ran out of food yesterday. I'm not having dinner tonight."
